I live in a 3 bedroom flat on the 11th floor of a big apartment building.
It’s pretty big for a flat. It has 3 large bedrooms, one for my wife and me and one for my son when he gets older. It also has a smaller bedroom that I use to study and store things in. The kitchen is small, but it is part of a big open-plan living room, so there is lots of space for the family.
I really like where I live, but it is really far from where I work in the centre of town. It takes around 45 minutes to drive there by motorbike and in the hot season and wet season it can be really uncomfortable, so we will consider moving closer to the centre in a year or so.
I live here in Abu Dhabi with my family, which includes my wife and son. We are two brothers and one sister. They live in Jaipur along with my father and grandparents. We used to visit them once a year. However, due to this pandemic situation recently, we have been not able to visit them for two years.
My favourite room is the bedroom. I spend most of my time in the bedroom watching TV and using my laptop. I have also installed a music system in my bedroom so whenever I want to relax, and I use to play soft music and lie down on the bed while listening to it.
We have done a lot of decorations in my home; my wife is fond of decorating our home. She spends a lot of her time shopping to find things which she can use to decorate our house. She has bought a number of paintings and installed them on our dining room wall. She has also used wallpapers to give uniqueness to the walls of our dining room. The interior of our home is mostly wooden, which gives a very natural feeling. We have a balcony that is full of plants, and we used to decorate this balcony by using small led’s.
Yes, I do love visitors, even I always ask our friends to come and visit our home for dinner. My family is very social, and we love to meet people. We used to have visitors quite often because of our social circle. We have so many contacts in this city, so we have visitors almost once a week.
I used to spend most of my time watching tv when I was at home. On weekends, I wake up and start my day by watching news channels on tv, and then I change to some youtube videos or some movies. On weekdays, after coming from the office, I used to watch tv for almost 2 to 3 hours. My TV is installed in the bedroom, so I used to watch till late at night until I went to sleep.
My favourite tv show is the news bulletin, which telecasts at 9 pm each night on time now. This bulletin will give details and news from all around the world. The anchor is very good, and she has a very good knowledge of geopolitics. She really gives a good insight into global news. The main agenda of watching this news bulletin daily is to be aware of all current affairs and issues going on globally. At the end of the bulletin, they give a weather forecast, which is imperative to check if you are planning to go out.
I used to watch a lot of cartoon shows when I was a kid. My favouirate show was Alladeen. There are four characters in this show, which keeps you glued throughout the episode. Aladeen was the lead role in this serial. He had three friends. All his friends were capable of doing magic. The shown was full of laughter with amazing magic tricks to see as a child. Aladeen, with his friends, always gets in trouble and then comes out by using their magical tricks.
I love watching tv shown in English countries, especially the USA. I love their humour and special effects. In addition, it gives you good command of the English language. It improves your vocabulary and listening skills. I recently watched a serial “Tehran”. This was based on a spy story and originated in Israel. The serial was full of surprises and kept you glued. It tells the story of an intelligence officer who trespasses in an enemy country to destroy their nuclear weapons. The second part of this serial is still under production and will soon be out in the next month.
Not really, because it is on the edge of town. If you want to go for a nice meal, use a swimming pool, go shopping or head out for a drink, you really have to drive for about 30 minutes. That’s a major drawback, but if you are organised and buy everything when you are in the centre of town, it’s not so bad.
I live there with my wife and baby son.
I don’t like lots of over-the-top decoration, so I guess you would describe it as minimalist. The walls are all white, and the furniture is also either white or black. There are very few ornaments or pictures because, again, I like to keep things quite minimal, and I hate clutter.
That’s the best part of where we live; we have a huge garden. It takes around 40 minutes to walk around it. It has a few play parks for the kids, several gyms and four small lakes. We are really lucky to have it, and I try to go for a walk around it every day if I have time.
I live on the outskirts of Ho Chi Minh City, in a district called Tan Phu, about 15 km from the city centre.
I would like to have a big balcony. We have a sort of balcony at the moment, but we mainly use it for washing and drying clothes. It would be really nice to have some tables and chairs on a proper balcony, with maybe a few plants, so we could sit there in the evenings and relax.
That would have to be my study because it’s the only room in that I can get peace. When I’m in there, my wife knows I’m working, so she leaves me alone, and I can concentrate on my work.
